You may have seen news reports regarding unrest in parts of Mexico. We are writing to make you aware of recent events in the region and to let you know the steps we are taking to ensure your safety and peace of mind.
Over the weekend, a significant military and police operation in the state of Jalisco resulted in the death of a major cartel leader. Following this action, there were retaliatory incidents involving violence against civilians and local businesses. While Bahia Mita itself has not been directly affected, there is currently uncertainty regarding security conditions in and around Puerto Vallarta, including the primary airport that many of our attendees are scheduled to use.
Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. NetOne is actively assessing the situation in partnership with ITA Group, our experienced travel and event-security partner. ITA Group has extensive on-the-ground expertise in managing programs in developing regions and responding to evolving conditions. Together, we are closely monitoring government advisories, local intelligence, and updates from our in-country partners.
The NetOne Board of Directors is scheduled to meet this Friday afternoon to determine how to proceed given the current circumstances. We will communicate to you as soon as a decision is made.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this situation. If you have immediate concerns, please feel free to reach out to your support team or Anne Tart.
We remain committed to keeping you informed and to ensuring a safe and exceptional experience for all Grand Champions attendees.
Sincerely,
Anne Tart
